Is the Star Wars world based on Indonesian culture

Is the Star Wars world based on Indonesian culture?
My Social Studies teacher once said in trivial fact that Star Wars was based from Indonesian culture. My teacher even had proof, which are: all Indonesian names are nearly the same as the characters in Star Wars. I've noticed that, because my religion teachers name is Jedi (Jed-Die (like Dixie)). I live in Indonesia, and I've never watched Star Wars in my life. Is this true?

I don't think Star Wars is based off any single culture or religion, because you can see many different instances of influence. The real question is how have you never seen any of the movies?

I know for a fact that one character in Episode 6 spoke Kikuyu, an African language. The plot-line of the original movie, Episode 4, was the monomyth, which appears in all cultures around the world, including in Indonesia.

I don't think it is...it's not so much about one culture but the epic story of a hero.
