What kind of accent or special way does someone Portuguese speak English

What kind of accent or special way does someone Portuguese speak English?
I need this ASAP, since I live in Indonesia I don't know what kind of accent they have. I'm writing a play and it will help if someone gave me an example of how they speak or some verbs and adjective they commonly use.

Accents vary from person to person. However they may put the words in the wrong order. Ex. To school I go
2 :
no, they do say 'i go to school' because thats the way you say it in portuguese but my friends mom used to say 'she dont...' 'he dont...' yet and still are often confused since they are the same word in portuguese. in, on, and at / by, for, and to are also often confused. good luck ^^
3 :
Some portuguese speaking people (especially brazilians) have difficulties to pronounce english words without a vowel at the end. This happens because in latin languages like portuguese, the most part of our words have a vowel at the and. Examples: right (we pronounce righty). Red (redy), black (blacky). I have seen on movies that italians make also the same mistake.

Have a look at these http://www.harveyvoices.co.uk/search/accent/brazilian_portuguese http://www.mothertongue.com/accent/16

What is the US Market outlook next week Oct 22-Oct27 2007 and the rest of Q4 2007?
What is the prediction on the oil price? And Commodity price such as gold? By the way, I live in Indonesia, will the Indonesian's Stock prices be affected by the uprising of oil price?

Why do people ask these questions that CAN NOT BE ANSWERED?... with the way the markest went last week, even the EXPERTS admittedly DON'T KNOW... The people who DO have a clue are NOT GOING TO TELL YOU FOR FREE... that kind of information COSTS BIG BUCKS. I HATE these REDICULOUS non-questions that CAN NOT BE ANSWERED.
2 :
I predict choppy Oct 22-31 towards negative side, A possible interest rate tantrum at the beginning of Nov, and probably good market from there.
3 :
Oil prices affect globally. If you REALLY want to know how one market influences other markets, you got to wait till the end of the week to do your analysis and learn from it. :)
4 :
As long as the US dollar goes down oil should be cheaper for you but you will lose out on sales to the US. The next few months may prove to be the craziest marketwise for decades. There's a lot brewing economically and politically between nations. At times it feels as if we are at a new cold war. Some countries are talking of dropping dollars as their currency of choice for transactions. This would hurt the dollar even more. Bush has been quite quiet lately. I bet we are going to see new terrorist attacks this fall - november or december - which will cause more turmoil. In addition there is always the Iran situation. Finally there are a lot of people in denial or talking down the situation to improve it. Wait and see if these people will take responsibility for their words.

Does one live well or very well with a monthly salary of 7-8 million rupees in Indonesia

Does one live well or very well with a monthly salary of 7-8 million rupees in Indonesia?
I am researching jobs teaching English there and that would be the proposed monthly salary. Is it an average salary there or a king's one?

Even for people with a higher education it is a salary higher than the average and allows a very goood life.
2 :
You wont live like a king but you will manage as prices are cheap. depends on your lifestyle to.
3 :
Wait. Rupees (as in INDIAN Rupees, INR) or Rupiah (as in INDONESIAN Rupiah, IDR)? I assume you mean IDR (Indonesian Rupiah). First of all, it's DEFINITELY not a king's sallary! Indonesia may be a 3rd world country, but the middle-class is getting more and more affluent nowadays. With the exception of rent prices, Jakarta is just as expensive as any major cities in the world. 8 million is above the average salary, but as a foreigner you won't be able to live comfortably. Unless, you're willing to live like a middle-class Indonesian, which requires extreme lifestyle change (no pubs, no bars, no gym, no country club, no ordering of wine with your food, no imported goods, taking (uncomfortable) public transportation most of the time, etc). Indonesia, especially Jakarta is NOT a cheap city. Westerners have this impression that just because Indonesia is a developing country, living cost is cheap as chips. If you're looking forward to the same lifestyle as you would get back home (with all the conveniences and facilities), then 8 million Rupiahs won't be enough. If you're willing to sacrifice a little (such as imported goods, nice housing, etc), then it should be enough for you to live in a considerable amount of comfort. Rent in Jakarta for a nice apartment that is similar to ones found in the West can cost 3 - 4 million per month. Of course, it depends on the location. a 5-star serviced apartment can cost 5 - 6 million to rent per month. On the other end of the spectrum, if you're willing to live in a rented room (called 'kost'), it can be as low as 500 thousand a month, including bills. An average Indonesian lower-management white-collar worker in Jakarta earn about 2 - 3 million a month. If you're earning 7 - 8 million, than you'll be twice to three times more affluent than them. However, let's face it, 8 million rupiah equates to less than USD 800. This might be Indonesia, but there's still not so much you can do with that amount of money per month. I'd say that earning USD 800 and living in Indonesia can make you live as comfortable as if you earn USD 1,600 and living in the U.S. Certainly not like a king.
4 :
well yeah dats enough for standard life style in jakarta specially :)
5 :
Well,i think it's pretty high. . .the average salary for teacher in indonesia is about 1-2 million rupiahs. . . CMIIW
6 :
First, it is Rupiahs and not Rupees. Second, in which city will you be living? In Jakarta, you will live well with Rp 8 mio, if you live modest enough. As others are saying, it is much more than the average of local (read: Indonesian) salary (Bachelor degree, 0-3 years experience). If you want to save some money, you'd better cut the lodging cost by staying in a rented room or dorm or what we called as "indekos". With Rp 1.5 mio per month, you could get a nice single bed room with AC and own bathroom. Ensure that no more charges will be charged if you bring your own laptop, TV, and other electronic devices. For food, don't eat out much, specially in restaurants in malls. If your 'indekos' landlord provide a shared kitchen, try to cook yourself. Budget for daily meal (3 times) could be as low as Rp 3 mio per month, including groceries. Transport: try to search lodging nearby your office, by walking distance. Taking the bus is not advised for foreigners, specially newcomer. Ten-minute taxi ride could cost Rp 15-20 thou. I had expat colleague who loves to ride motorcycle taxi ('ojek'), but be careful and warn the driver if they drive recklessly. Budget for transport should be no more than Rp 1 mio per month. Try to save at least USD 100 per month. That leaves Rp 1.5 mio budget to have fun (clubs, movies, clothes, books). If you are a shopaholic type, that will be a problem :)
7 :
ummm... In jakarta, its still small, but for single, its Ok, as still good offer for that job. 8 million/month is standard.
