How do I stop people from motorcycle racing illegally

How do I stop people from motorcycle racing illegally?
I live right next by a major street, where people illegally race starting at 1:00 am to 3:00 am, when everybody is supposed to sleep. This is very disturbing, and living in Indonesia, where people does not respect the law, this practice has been going on and on even with police patrols or sirene. They usually hide, and come back after they didn't see the police cars. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Talking to them won't work because they gamble on these races, and thus some may have made it their lifestyle.

tip the cops off what time it starts them maybe they will do a stake out.

put somehitng on the street thats slippery like ball bearing balls. so they fall and die and dont come back

Spray the street down with water, and put out thumbtacks. That ought to stop the fast and furious wannabes.

Take your garbage cans and put them in the street. Create your own signs that say....NO ILLEGAL STREET RACING. You have to something that lets them know that SOMEONE is watching them and doesn't like what's going on. That could scare them away enough to find another place to race.

A chain or aircraft cable, from house to opposite house ,at throat level..........tends to slow them down. Make sure they are properly anchored.

Take a long roll of cloth and put tacks through one side so they stick out the other, or glue glass onto it. When you hear them, go out when they have gone down the other end of the street so they can't see you. Roll out the cloth across the street and go back to bed. Another way is to put up a wire (or fishing line) across the street about four feet off the ground, but that's really nasty!

Love it here; I'm an expat working in Jkt. Have spent total 71/2 yrs in 2 different jobs. The people are fine, but the politics are immature. It is like many African countries trying to accommodate different tribes into an artificial European-determined sovereign boundary. I guess because Islamic groups were suppressed so long under Suharto, that they are now flowering and they seem to be determined to smother Indonesia's historically rich culture. Sel tinggal.

Very discriminating country !!! Too many radicals organization.. Too many people who think that they are the most holy people.. Not too secure..remember the stupid suicide bomb?

What's the best kind of container to store gasoline in a car

What's the best kind of container to store gasoline in a car?
I live in Indonesia, and in 2 years from now, i'll be working in an isolated town. And i've observed that gas stations are quite a rare thing there. So i'm thinking of storing reserve gasoline in my car, just in case. To do so, what kind of container should i use to keep it relatively safe? And what material?

Storing gasoline in any kind of container inside a car is dangerous because the fumes are highly explosive. Inside your car, the fumes can accumulate because they cannot vent to the outside air. So any kind of spark or fire (like a cigarette) could make these fumes explode. If you still decided to store gasoline in your car, your auto insurance might get cancelled. And even if your insurance company does not find out you are doing this, if your car explodes or catches fire, they might not pay your claim. I have seen jeeps using approved rectangular metal gas cans that are attached to the outside rear of the jeep. If you are so concerned about this problem, check with an auto mechanic about adding an extra approved gas tank to your car or enlarge your existing gas tank.

What are the requirements to apply for Singapore citizenship

What are the requirements to apply for Singapore citizenship?
Can anyone tell me the requirements needed if I want to apply for citizenship in Singapore? I live in Indonesia. Are there things one could take that may be beneficial in trying to obtain it, for example going to college and working there afterwards? Thank you.
