Interesting that right wingers are upset by this. He went to a public school and was forced to do those things. And yet, the religious right has no problem arguning the prayer should be forced upon young people in our schools.

It does not. Does it bother non -catholics vwhen they attend catholic school and have to attend mass? I believe we're looking at this all wrong. Look at the man he is. Republicans are having a hard time swallowing the pill that there is a Democrat ready and willing to take office. Especially since we have given them eight years to screw up a functioning country. People are in a horrible state right now. Please America wake up. FOcus on the issues. LOOK at your financial situation. Check your 401K. Imagine where would you be a month without a paycheck.

I see that your "avatar" is a pyramid in Egypt, a country which is predominantly Islamic. I have to wonder if you are "bothered" by that..... Fact is, IF Mr. Obama attended Muslim prayers while living in Indonesia, it was because he was being respectful of that Nation's religious culture. So many people in the U.S. claim that all visitors from other countries MUST attend Christian religious services -- no matter what religious backgropund those visitors come from. In fact, they want to make Christianity the "Official United States Religion". Which makes me wonder how any "patriotic" U.S. citizen could possibly ignore the 1st Amendment to the Constitution of The United States of America. Oh, that's right -- only Christian Right-wingers can be "Patriots"..........(yes, those last 6 words are sarcasm)
