indonesians were cool with their mild, peaceful islam coexisting with animist ideas, till they adopted the stringent saudi-funded islam - now you are a bunch of fascists.

Yes alot of close minded bigoted stupid people blame all Muslims for terrorism, and hate all Islam. They forget that Christians could equally be hated for the Holocaust or the Crusades, for instance. Or that if you were assaulted by a black man it doesn't mean all black people believe in assaulting people. However, we are not all stupid. Some of us in this country are loving and accepting people.

No, it is not true for MOST of the sane, rational adults over here. We just don't like the radicals who blow up buildings and trains and other public places. Big difference (As there are radicals in EVERY religion doing nasty things in the name of their diety).

Many of us have a VERY bad impression islam, yes. We see it as a backwards, cultish, bloodthirsty and oppressive. Many of us are bothered by islam's treatment of women, and are amused/bothered by the "outraged muslim sensibilities" that can't handle a cartoon or a teddy bear or whatever else "offends" those sensibilities. We see it as anti-progressive and overwhelmingly illiterate. We see it as tribal and primitivistic.

i wish stupid people would stop, think and find the facts for themselves before repeating the racist crap their stupid friends tell them. Almost every religion in the world promotes the same ideals of peace and harmony, but almost every religion in the world has extremists. I'm not a muslim but i live in Indonesia, and I wish the ill-informed foxnews-brainwashed dickheads who post this damaging bollocks on the net would open their eyes ,find the truth for themselves.
