I have a chinese friend from indonesia and she's mean,...please don't tell her.

They are chinese Indonesian. HA HA HA!!!

I think they suffer a lot of discrimination.

i don't really agree with michinoku2001, but it is true. in some cities, the discrimination does happen but in other cities they live peacefully side by side with the 'native' (cant really called them native cause all Indonesian actually is come from outside centuries ago) bcoz Indonesia is a big country and the diversity is not only 'chinese indonesia' and 'native', even between those ppl that called them self 'native' is not united, they have different race, religion, hometown, etc. the use term of 'chinese indonesia' is annoying, they are indonesian, not chinese anymore. it doesnt matter if their ancestor was chinese. many of them live harmony and really consider indonesia as their homeland. married with the 'native', become muslim, is a common thing. they do met lots of unfortuned tragedy (it happen in twice, 1960s and 1990s) most bcoz social jealousy. 'chinese indonesia' doesnt allow to work in goverment field, so they focusing in economy field. lots of them bcome success entrepreneur. but as long the indonesian ppl live with tolerent and work together, they'll be fine.
